Here’s the bottom line -- the TisBest Philanthropy keeps a flat fee of $3.95 per gift card, to fund their non-profit operation (so, your charity won’t get much from a $10 gift card); but, because the Golden Laurels are proselytizing for them, from its $3.95 TisBest will donate $3 to the Golden Laurels for each gift card you purchase if you put “GOLDEN” in the promo box when you check out.  Amy characterizes it as a win-win-win-win (for the chosen charity, TisBest, the Golden Laurels, and the food bank).  TisBest essentially foregoes its take in the interests of encouraging youth groups like Golden Laurels.  So if you do it this way, all but 95 cents of your money goes to either charity or the Golden Laurels, and the Golden Laurels will use it to help the food bank.

To purchase a card follow the steps of choosing a card image (you can upload your own image as well); choose a card style; put whatever message you want on it; and then add it to your cart.  When you “check out”, at the bottom on the checkout page you’ll see a “Promo Code” box; BE SURE TO TYPE "GOLDEN" IN THE PROMO BOX, then  the Golden Laurels will get the $3 per card to help support the food bank.
